PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY

It is one of the most promising ways of harnessing solar energy and it is very important to maximize the production and rationalize the consumption. Based on the principle of the photovoltaic effect, the energy contained in sunlight can be converted directly into electric energy. These systems can be used in isolated locations, without mains power, or connected to the mains.

Self-consumption systems may be connected to the power grid, consuming part or all of the electrical energy produced by the system, or they may be isolated from any power grid, referred to as offgrid systems.

Sunvienergy manages all necessary steps in the supply and operation of a photovoltaic solar energy solution, namely the study of the best technical option and its economic feasibility, the supply and installation, maintenance and monitoring of its operation.

Applications

  • Street lighting;
  • Water Pumping;
  • Road signs;
  • SOS Points;
  • Power supply.

Isolated systems (Off-Grid)

Ideal systems for residential purposes (family or small holiday houses) located in areas without access to the power grid. Isolated systems consist of a set of panels, a load regulator, one or more batteries and an inverter. The charge regulators are responsible for controlling the charge of the batteries. The batteries should have sufficient capacity to feed the loads at night or during the days with low solar radiation.

Self-consumption

According to the legislation in many countries, self-consumption systems, allow the production of electricity for consumption in the plant itself and in which electricity missing or in excess is, respectively, bought or sold to the Public Electricity Network.

With the solar panels for self-consumption, greater efficiency can be achieved when the systems are designed according to the need of the installation of consumption.

With the increase of the electricity price and the lowering costs of the photovoltaic technology, the present and the future undoubtedly go through production for self-consumption.

THERMAL ENERGY

A solar thermal energy capture system converts solar radiation into thermal energy. The heat absorbed by the solar liquid that is inside the solar panel is transported by a pumping system, through isolated pipes, to the hot water tank. These systems can save between 60 to 80% of the energy needed to heat hot water and pool heating and they can aid central heating systems.

From systems that are particularly designed for the residential market, to medium and large systems, Sunvienergy designs and implements any type of project, assuring the installation and maintenance of all types of systems.

The main applications of solar thermal energy are:

  • Hot water production;
  • Swimming pool water heating;
  • Central heating.

WIND ENERGY

The wind is a natural energy source that can be availed with a low investment, it is especially profitable in very windy places.

When exposed to sufficient wind, a wind turbine produces alternating current (AC). After rectified (DC) this current is used to charge batteries and subsequently converted to alternating current.

Advantages of wind energy:

  • Good return on investment;
  • Reduces CO2 emissions;
  • It is one of the cheapest sources of energy.

HYDRO ENERGY

The potential for the use of mini-hydro energy is distributed throughout the national territory, with greater concentration in the North and Center of the country.

The electrical energy generated from the mini-hydro or hydroelectric comes from the transformation of potential energy into kinetic energy, that is, from the force of the waters. It can be explored in smaller dimensions – mini and micro-hydro plants, depending on the installed power.

This process of producing this energy takes place as follows: the water available in an upper quota is sent through a pipeline to an accumulator tank and is then sent to a small electricity generating turbine. It is an excellent choice as long as you have a regular water course with a sufficient incline.

Sunvienergy develops and implements solutions that meet this type of energy use.

AUDIT AND CERTIFICATION
ENERGY

An Energy Audit is a detailed examination of the conditions of energy use in a facility (plant or building) and in that sense it is a fundamental tool for efficient energy management. Specific and detailed information on energy consumption, as well as the degree of efficiency of the equipment as well as possible losses, allow to define management strategies and identify the most appropriate measures of energy saving. Through an energy certification the owners can know the energy quality of their home.

Sunvienergy, through qualified experts, performs Energy Certifications (REH), and the Energy Performance of Commercial Buildings and Services (RECS) Regulation, guaranteeing the entire process, from the survey to the issuing the Certificate.
