Isolated systems (Off-Grid)

Ideal systems for residential purposes (family or small holiday houses) located in areas without access to the power grid. Isolated systems consist of a set of panels, a load regulator, one or more batteries and an inverter. The charge regulators are responsible for controlling the charge of the batteries. The batteries should have sufficient capacity to feed the loads at night or during the days with low solar radiation.


According to the legislation in many countries, self-consumption systems, allow the production of electricity for consumption in the plant itself and in which electricity missing or in excess is, respectively, bought or sold to the Public Electricity Network.

A solar thermal energy capture system converts solar radiation into thermal energy. The heat absorbed by the solar liquid that is inside the solar panel is transported by a pumping system, through isolated pipes, to the hot water tank. This process of producing this energy takes place as follows: the water available in an upper quota is sent through a pipeline to an accumulator tank and is then sent to a small electricity generating turbine.
